Mandrill in Graphite
Did this Mandrill as part of FurryFebruary for my fellow former NHI101 students. This guy was really fun. Scary eyes!

Landscape from a Yellowstone Postcard
Trying to work with what is being taught in my beginning watercolor class, I did this small landscape. Moose in ink.
Watercolor Florals
Finished the Camellia, although I rushed through the leaves and stem after feeling I had messed them up. Then I did a rose. Pretty happy with both of them. Just need to practice, practice, practice.

WIP
Trying to learn watercolor and after two classes don't think I'm getting anywhere. We are only doing tiny landscapes and not really learning anything about how to manage watercolor. So I started this Camellia from Billy Showell's book A to Z of Flower Portraits. Leaves are going to be more of a challenge than the petals.
Furry February
My Natural History Illustration group is focusing this month on how to draw fur. This is my going-in project on which I am hoping to get suggestions for improvement and lessons on how to do things like white fur on a white background. This is a Tamarin.
