Two Projects Done!

Here's is the final Anglo Nubian goat in graphite and the tree I photographed for my Natural History Illustration project while in Florida back in November.  The tree is my first ever watercolor, so cool to have finished something.  The goat is in preparation for a February exploration of drawing fur.

Beginning Watercolor

This is so "me."  In two weeks I am starting a beginning watercolor class.  But of course I don't want to look like a beginner, so I've been binge watching YouTube tutorials, trying to figure out the basics.  I did this line and wash with permission of the artist, Pat Axani Ellson, who is encouraging me.  I don't know enough to do the details, so the flowers and leaves were enhanced using colored pencil.
